Materials List
Yarn: Knit Picks, Comfy Worsted (75 percent Pima cotton/25 percent acrylic; 109 yards; 50 grams; worsted weight)
Main Color: One skein "Sweet Potato"
Coordinating Color: One skein "Sea Foam"
Note that you can substitute any worsted weight yarn of your choice. A machine-washable fiber is always highly recommended for baby items. You’ll need approximately 55 (66) yards or 25 (30) grams in your yarn of choice.
Crochet Hook: US size G/4.5mm hook
Adjust hook sizes as necessary to achieve gauge listed below.
Extras: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge: Eight sc and 10 rnds = two inches using size G/4.5mm hook.
Finished Circumference: 12 (14) inches
To Fit: Preemie (Baby)—shown in size baby.
Ages are given as a reference. Choose a size based on actual body measurements whenever possible. Remember that finished hat measurements are the minimum size. Finished circumference will stretch to accommodate sizes two to three inches larger than that stated.
