Carol asks,
"What's the best size to make a scarf? Do you have any guidelines available? both length and width. Thanks."
Carol, that's a great question, but I am not sure that a definitive answer exists. I think scarf size is a matter of personal preference.
With that in mind, I invite your comments about the best size to make a scarf. Got an opinion? Please share it here! Thanks in advance to everyone who contributes.

Unless its specifically a shorter scarf, I try to make it approximately as long as the arms-reach. I generally find its a good size to wrap with some to show. Kids really like it a bit longer, for the most part.
The width? There’s a really variable dimension.
For me, I like thinner scarves to be able to wrap around the neck a couple of times, and thicker scarves to wrap around once and for both to hang long enough to stay on! So for me, anywhere between 5 feet and almost 6 feet works, depending on thickness and style.
