I've been promising y'all some new patterns for guys, and I'm excited to have published this new men's headband pattern on our website.
This is a warm winter headband that covers the ears. It's crocheted in worsted weight yarn using half double crochet worked through the back loops of the stitches. I made this headband after looking at bunches of men's ski headbands and athletic headbands -- which are ridiculously expensive these days. This is one of those (increasingly rare) times when making your own project can save you a bundle.
My husband is enthusiastic about this design for a number of reasons. Most importantly, it fits under his bicycle helmet, whereas his winter hat does not. Now he won't have to suffer with cold ears when he rides his bike on chilly days.
I hope you'll like this pattern too. If you do, great! You're invited to grab it -- for free -- on our website. If this project isn't exactly what you had in mind, don't worry, we have thousands of free crochet patterns posted for you to use.
