I'm hoping this grid lace scarf will appeal to crocheters of all skill levels. It's easy enough for total beginners, but it's so quick, pretty, and versatile that I think experienced crocheters may want to try it too.

If the solid color scarf is just not challenging enough for you, you could try the two-color version to liven things up a bit. The two-color version features a striped color pattern, which opens up all kinds of interesting possibilities for different yarns and color combinations.
