If you have an overabundance of old sheets, stained / outgrown clothing, or similar textiles hanging around, don't throw them away. You can transform them into a lovely rag rug; just cut them into strips, pick a rag rug pattern, and work a little crochet magic on them.
If you don't have all that many textiles to work with, or if you have a short attention span, you might want to begin with a smaller project. A rag bag would be another great project idea for recycling old fabrics.
Another idea: You could try making a fabric crochet necklace with wire-wrapped pendants for an even quicker project.
