Our list of free crochet hat patterns has been growing to the point that it's getting hard to navigate. Since we have a lot of beanies, awhile back I organized our free crochet beanie patterns into an easily accessible list. If you think you might like to crochet a beanie, they're all in one place for you to look at.

Pictured at right: a simple beanie that can be crocheted in worsted weight yarn. I've crocheted this design several different times; I discovered that it works well in both wool and acrylic, and it even looks nice when made with variegated yarn.
