Here's another idea I recently posted: A custom crochet afghan pattern. It may look familiar to some of you who've been following my blog or subscribing to my newsletters for awhile; it took me quite awhile to put together the squares from my mix and match series of afghan squares. Perhaps you've seen some or all of the squares in the series; here's one idea for how they could look when joined together to make the finished afghan.
It boggles the mind how many different afghans or other projects you could make from these squares. So far I've designed two completely different afghans and a pillow, and I'm not quite finished with the ideas yet. My other design was a Christmas afghan that was posted last year. When you compare the two projects, you can see some minor similarities, but overall I think they turned out totally different.
I look forward to seeing some of the different ways y'all will customize this pattern and make it your own. I'll be really excited to see it popping up in different sizes, themes, yarns and colorways. For those of you who give this pattern a try, I hope you'll enjoy the customization process, and every stitch along the way as you crochet your unique, one-of-a-kind afghan design.
