This edging is based on a simple vintage design. The original didn't have instructions for turning a corner, so I added a couple of options for that.
The way I see it, an edging pattern is the most useful it could be if it includes a corner. If you're making an item that doesn't have a corner, you can simply ignore the corner instructions -- no problem. But if you're making an afghan, dishcloth, pillow or anything else that's square or rectangular, an edging pattern without a corner doesn't do you much good.
