Easy Crochet Afghan Edging: This edging looks great on a wide variety of different afghans. It's one of my favorites for using on guys' afghans, baby afghans for little boys, or colorful, "busy" afghans (like crochet quilts.)

This is one of the easiest edgings ever. It's so easy that many of you won't even need the pattern, but I do hope it'll come in handy for those of you who are brand new to crochet.

Checkered Afghan Edging: This edging is worked in a two-color checkerboard pattern. I used it on one of my customized mix-and-match afghans.

Hand Towel Edging Pattern: (Pictured at above right.) This is one of my favorite patterns for edging hand towels.

Lacy Vs and Picots Edging: This is another one of my favorite edging patterns. I love it on afghans and baby blankets. I have another variation of it that I used on a dishcloth. There are many other possibilities for using and adapting it.

More Free Crochet Edging Patterns: This link takes you to our archive of free edging patterns. There are bunches of other edgings posted and I think you'll be able to find edgings to suit just about any project you want to make.
