There are zillions of different possible ways to crochet motifs, and infinite different ways to combine them to make different projects. The possibilities are almost overwhelming. Let's explore a few of them, shall we?
This is our main directory for finding free motif patterns.
Some of My Favorites:
- This hexagon pattern is based on an easy flower motif pattern. Both of these patterns are among my current favorites.
- Lately, this simple little flat flower has been my go-to pattern just about every time I need a little doodad to jazz something up. I've also tried crocheting it in just about every material you can think of. See this version in fabric (a trivet) and this version in wire (a pendant) for a few different interesting and unusual things that could be done with ordinary motif patterns.
- You can use this beginner-friendly little circle motif to build these snowflakes, or lots of other things.
