It's that time of year when college students will soon be heading off to their campuses -- perhaps for the first time ever, or perhaps they're returning for another semester of learning.
If there are college students in your household or among your friends and neighbors, this quick little change purse, perhaps filled up with quarters for laundry, would be a nice gift that you could make for them.
This pattern is one of several free crochet pouch patterns we have posted on our website. So, if you like this idea but you'd like to see some other options for the change purse, please have a look at the list and see if there's one you like better. I love the checkerboard pouch, personally, but I think all the pouches on the list are nice.
Of course, college students aren't the only ones who'd find a change purse useful. It would come in handy for anyone who needs parking meter money, lunch money, or laundry money (etc!)
