Looking for a project that'll keep you busy for awhile? Try this cute crocheted apple purse. You'll use a mix of interesting needlework techniques to complete this project. First, you crochet the front of the purse using afghan stitch. Then you make and attach the beaded apple motif; then you fill in the apple shape with cross stitch. Then you can finish putting the purse together.
One of the nice things about this pattern is that you do not have to buy separate purse handles; you crochet them using the same yarn as you use for the body of the purse. Instructions for the handles are included in the pattern.
