Can one ever have too many ideas -- or patterns -- for crocheting wraps and shawls?

If you answered "no!" to that question, I suspect you will be interested in learning more about this brand new book called Crochet Wraps Every Which Way by Tammy Hildebrand, published by Stackpole Books.

This book has two main focuses. The primary focus: it's a crochet pattern book, filled with contemporary yet classic patterns for crocheted wraps and shawls.

The book's secondary focus: crochet techniques such as Tunisian crochet, crochet motifs, hairpin lace and others (six techniques all together.)

Additionally, Tammy has gone out of her way to create a range of patterns and tutorials that will be useful to crocheters of all skill levels. Beginners and experts can both use this book to advance their skills, and I think that even advanced crocheters are likely to learn some new things from this material. I found the presentation interesting, and the tutorials themselves may spark new ideas, even for those who are familiar with the techniques presented.
