I recently made an important update to our tutorial on the topic of how to crochet a scarf. Technically, the tutorial is actually a grouping of several different related tutorials that I put together, covering many different things you need to know when you approach the task of crocheting a scarf.
What I just added: this page about how to crochet an infinity scarf, also known as a "cowl" or "cowl-neck scarf." With cowls and infinity scarves being so popular right now, I figured this was an important addition that needed to be made to our tutorials.
Crocheters of all skill levels are invited to make use of these resources, however, the tutorials are intended for beginning crocheters. For those of you who are just getting started, I hope you'll find these insights helpful. They may also prove to be helpful for crocheters who are getting back into the hobby after taking a long break.
I also have a free pattern available for the cowl neck scarf you see pictured above.
If this kind of scarf isn't your style, no worries, we probably have patterns that would suit your tastes better. You're invited to visit our main directory of free scarf patterns to see plenty of other choices. You may also be interested in taking a look through my library of crochet patterns, which is an archive that dates back almost five years. There's plenty of good stuff there, as most of my patterns are classic designs that won't quickly be outdated.
Thanks for dropping by! I'm delighted that you visited our website today, and I really appreciate your interest.
