I love crocheting. I think it is one of the best things there is. Believe it or not, crocheting tops knitting on my scale by 99%. And your patterns make it FUNNER! Thanks 4 the awesome newsletters. 20 years from now, when I’m in my 40′s, I’ll look back and say: “Wow, these patterns are amazing. I’m glad I kept them.” Thank you, Amy Solovay!

I love to crochet and have started to knit. But I still find crocheting to be my favorite hobby. I just wish making socks was easier. I have a hard time with knitting and crocheting both. Anyone have a suggestions.

Ronnie — You can find links to many different free sock tutorials and patterns at this link:

Some of them have detailed pictures that help you understand the challenging parts, such as working the heel. Hope those help.

Hi Jean,

I’ve posted some pictures that might (or might not) help you. This is the way I usually close my crocheted bracelets. It so happens that these pics are of a necklace I made, but it’s the same basic idea.

Let me know if that helps?

Best,
Amy
