I used the lacy treble shell stitch to crochet this scarf.

I really like the pink and brown colorway pictured here, but even I have to admit that it's a little bit bold. Bold is great for some people, although I realize that it perhaps isn't right for everyone; if this combination is not appealing to you, perhaps you'd prefer a more subtle color combo comprised of natural colors. That's normally how I dress -- mostly in beiges and black -- so I really love that colorway too. Another option would be to crochet the entire scarf in a single color, which is on my "to do" list as well.
