Outlined Cross Stitch on Crocheted Tote

This crocheted tote bag could be made in various color combinations with no cross stitch added or, in red, white and blue colors, with the letters USA added to the front (in cross stitch), as shown in the photo example.

When I finished with the basic cross stitch of the letters, I added an outline in straight stitches around the edges of the letters and then filled in some of the areas with straight stitches to further embellish the letters. Photo with closer look at cross-stitched letter U

Independence Day Themed Bag

Here's a great July 4th Independence Day celebration accessory. The photo shows an example of a USA liberty bell design crocheted with color changes on the front of the drawstring bag, made all in single crochet.
