---------------- Hot Picks ----------------
Begin a cat of the month afghan or a series of mini wall hangings. January's cat is playing out in the snow (at the moment, impersonating a snowman).

----------- Free Charts ------------
I've recharted the Crosses With Lilies and added filet starting chain, plus written instructions for the first two rows to get you started.
A great design to display anytime of year but especially at Easter.

--------- From The Mailbag -----------
The email question was about how to print the 1902 purse chart at http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa121299.htm if only the top part of the chart would print out, when printing the pattern pages.
My answer:
Right-click on the image (click directly on the chart
with your right-hand side mouse button) and then choose
"save as" to save it to a disk or your computer hard drive.
Open it in whatever photo program you have on your computer
and then print it out from there. When printing, choose the
"Fill Page" or "Fit to Page" feature in your printer choices,
to automatically enlarge the chart, while printing, if you wish to.
------------- Search Box -------------
Remember the search box (that's at the top of most pages on my site) when you're looking for any type of crochet information or searching for a certain type of crochet pattern or how-to. It can be very handy in finding what you're looking for.
When searching for non-crochet information, type in a search word or words, then choose "in the About network" from the pull-down menu that's to the right of the search box (there are over 700 sites on various topics in the About network). Try it. You might be surprised at the About topic sites you discover, that you didn't realize were there!

Have a great crochet week!
