This is a face cloth with a flower shape, in an openwork design, crocheted with cotton yarn. I used a front post stitch in this design. For a how-to, see: http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa060797.htm ... another special stitch that I used is a bobble made of 3 double crochet. How To Crochet a 3-dc Bobble: Work 3 dc into a same stitch, leaving the last loop of each stitch on the hook, then yarn over the hook and draw through all loops on the hook, chain 1 to close the bobble.

Materials Used In The Example: Worsted weight cotton yarn (you could substitute any brand), I used Peaches and Cream color 4 Ecru and Sugar'n Cream color 1628 Hot Orange
US Size H crochet hook
Finished Size: About 9 1/2 inches in diameter, at widest points
Gauge is not important for this project because a face cloth can successfully be any finished size so if yours turns out larger or smaller than the example, that's just fine.
Abbreviations: ch = chain, dc = double crochet, fpdc = front post double crochet, sc = single crochet, sl st = slip stitch
