#47 Square Photo
#47 in 101 Crochet Squares

Square in photo crocheted by Sandi Marshall, from the pattern in the book 101 Crochet Squares
To adjust this to be a 6 inch square:
(I used a size G hook, with worsted weight yarn.)
Work Rounds 1 - 5 as per the book's pattern directions.
My own adjustments:
(skip Rnds 6 and 7), then sc around as in Rnd 8.
(Note: The design of this square is such that it has to be pulled into shape when it is finished.)
Note: The pattern is not given here because this is a copyrighted pattern in a book still under copyright, meaning that it would be illegal to distribute reproduced copies of the pattern itself in any manner. We do want this publisher to continue publishing crochet patterns. What I give you here are directions for my own adjustments for using the pattern in the 101 Crochet Squares book to adjust to a 6 inch square. This is a very popular book that many of you may already own; it is certainly a book worth purchasing if you are so inclined.
