Aircraft Sampler Afghan Square Number One

The example on the left shows the airplane crocheted in one solid color.
On the right, I've shown how the airplane looks with a bit of detail added in a lighter color.
Materials Used In The Example:
Worsted weight yarn -
2 oz. lt blue for background
1/2 oz. dark hunter green for airplane
small amount lighter shade of green for airplane detail
US Size G crochet hook
Finished Size For One Square: 10" x 8 1/2"
Gauge: 7 single crochet = 2 inches, 8 rows = 2 inches
In the example, I crocheted the colors in, following the chart (chart is too wide to put on this page. See Chart on Printer-Friendly Page). If you preferred, you could use this same chart to do the airplane in cross-stitch on an afghan stitch or single crochet background.
