A Toy to Love - the Teddy Bear
Dateline: 03/29/1997

Teddy bears come in all sorts of fascinating shapes, costumes and sizes, even tiny, miniature bears.

If you've just finished clicking through on the links in the paragraph above, you have seen many varieties of adorable teddy bears. Maybe you've even felt inspired to crochet some special teddy bears of your own.

You'll find a free pattern for crocheting 13" teddy bears at http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa110897.htm

Use your imagination in creating special outfits for your crocheted bears. Dress a bear ready for work (a nurse? an astronaut?) or ready to play at a favorite sport (parachuting? scuba diving?). If your teddy bear was going to go to work in your place, dressed as you, what would it be wearing? Just for the fun of it...try creating that outfit.
