Row 3 began with a chain 1, to turn. Then ... Follow the photo from the right to the left (the same direction that you would use when crocheting a row).
Directions On Photo Without Abbreviations:
1. on Photo = single crochet in each of first 2 single crochet
2. on Photo = single crochet in first chain-3 space
3. on Photo = chain 3, skip next single crochet

4. on Photo = single crochet in next chain-3 space
