Daisy Yoke in Filet Crochet
If you don't wish to have spaces for weaving ribbon into strap, follow same open mesh pattern as row before it, instead of doing the chain-29 for open space. Repeat the strap chart until you have the desired length. When all pieces are finished, sew main piece together in the back. Sew shoulder straps in place. Finish armholes and neck edge with single crochet and picots. To make a picot: chain 3, slip stitch in same stitch just made (at base of chain-3). Use your own judgement as to how many single crochet stitches you wish to do in between each picot.
Daisy Yoke Charts were
printed in 1921 in the pattern book Star Yoke Book, Book No 1.
The black & white photo of finished yoke is from this same 1921 publication.
