When you are increasing more than one open mesh (space) at the beginning of a row:
Step 1: At end of previous row, ch 2 for first additional space + ch 3 more for each additional space required + 3 (first dc), + 2 (first space), turn, dc in 8th ch from hook (first space inc made).
Step 2: * Ch 2, skip 2 sts, dc in next st *, repeat from * to * as required.
Increasing one solid mesh (block) at the beginning of the row

When you are increasing more than one solid mesh (block) at the beginning of a row:
Step 1: At end of previous row, ch 2 (for first additional block) + 3 more for each additional block required, + 3 (first dc), turn, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch (first block inc made). Step 2: * Dc in next 3 sts *, repeat from * to * as required. Continue across following chart.
