Diamond Filet Triangle Scarf or Kerchief With Optional Irish Rose

Image above shows a close-up look at the tip of the scarf (the part that shows from the back of the head while you're wearing it); shown with the optional Irish Rose.
You may wish to make the scarf all in one solid color or with the areas of a contrasting color as shown below. The scarf works up quickly in Aunt Lydia's "Denim" Quick Crochet.

Another option is working some of the solid areas in a contrasting color. I used separate balls of thread for each different color area. In this color arrangement, the red triangles are visible from the side of the head while scarf is worn. |
