Christmas Tree Towel Hanger (Topper) Pattern
Designed by Sandi Marshall, 12/97

Crochet this Christmas Tree,
for a festive towel topper,
then have fun decorating it!

The Free Pattern is on a printer-friendly page. Below I've given a few suggestions for ways that you might enjoy using to decorate your finished Christmas Tree Towel Topper.

Ways to decorate
This is wide open to your own imagination,
but here's a few ideas to get you started:

4mm or 6mm simulated pearls
gold or silver metallic beads
brightly colored 12/0 seed beads
an assortment of beads in various sizes, colors and shapes
small decorative buttons, such as teddy bears
small plain round colored buttons
tiny satin bows
embroidery

There are two ways to crochet this topper - this photo shows the undecorated topper crocheted with the "full branches" directions. The other option "for more flat branches" is recommended when planning to do a lot of decorating on your topper.
