I have charted this holiday bell design for filet crochet but the same chart could also be used to do cross stitch in a solid color (as a silhouette). The cross stitch can be worked on a single crochet or afghan stitch background, if desired. You could also use the chart to crochet the design in single crochet, with color changes (for a pillow, for example) ... if following the chart for single crochet, read the chart as one square on the chart equaling one single crochet stitch.
