Worsted Weight Yarn
1/4 oz. white
Size G crochet hook
Finished size: 4 inches round x 2 1/2 inches high

Directions

With white yarn, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in ea sc around. (14)
Rnd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (21)
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (28)
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (35)
Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (42)
Rnd 7: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (49)
Rnd 8: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (56)
Rnd 9: (sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (63)
Begin decreases:
Rnd 10: (sc in next 7 sc, sc next 2 sc tog) around. (56)

Row 19: Join with slip stitch in next sc, ch 1, working

Row 20: (both loops) 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in ea sc across to
within last 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc. (23)
Rows 21 - 24: Repeat row 20. (31 sc at the end of row 24)
Rows 25 - 27: sc in ea sc across. (31)
End off.
Fold back brim.
If desired: using white yarn and a large-eye needle, with a single stitch,
tack down end of row 27 to row 18 at about 1 inch away from the start of the
brim. Repeat with other end of row 27. Weave in ends.
