Isn't it exciting to prepare for a new arrival? Whether you're crocheting for a new family member or working on a gift for a friend, colleague, or charity, baby booties are fantastic projects to consider. They're cute, fun, useful, quick to make, and they're sure to be appreciated by the recipients.

If you'd like to get started on a new pair of baby booties, you'll find a variety of different patterns and designs available for free; bunches of them are linked below. Hopefully you'll find some patterns that appeal to you before you reach the end of the list. But in case you don't, you'll also find a couple of suggestions for pattern books that have even more options for you to look at.

Note: Age ranges / size ranges given are estimates. As you know, each child is a unique and precious one-of-a-kind individual, and babies do grow and develop at different rates.
