Assembling and Finishing the Sweater
Sew 2 buttons to the top of each shoulder on back piece of sweater to correspond with button loops on the front piece.

Button shoulder seams together and lay piece open on a flat surface.

Use a ruler to measure across the top edge of one sleeve (top edge is the last row you worked). Mark the center with a locking stitch marker. Align this center marker with the shoulder seam. Sew the long top edge of sleeve to the sweater. Repeat for the second sleeve.

Fold the sweater and sleeves in half with the wrong side facing you. (You want your seam to be on the inside.) Sew up the sides and bottom of sleeve seams. Turn sweater right side out for the next step.

Using cc yarn, work a sc edging across front and back of neck opening and around sleeves.
