To make the tie, ch 45, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, then sl st in ea of the next 44 chains, sl st back in the ch-2 corner again, then sl st in ea sc across the top edge, sl st in next ch-2 corner. To make the other tie, ch 45, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, then sl st in ea of the next 44 chains, sl st back in the ch-2 corner again, then sl st in ea sc along front edge until you reach the bottom edge. sl st in end of the last row. End off. Weave in ends.
