Misty Morning Cowl
Skill Level: Easy + to Intermediate
Turn to this cowl for a quick lace project that is simpler to make than your friends will guess. Crochet it in the morning and wear it to go out on the town in the evening. Because Misty Morning uses only a small amount of yarn (130 to 150 yards) it is perfect for that single skein of luxury yarn you’ve been saving.
1 skein Autumn House Farms, Shantung Silk [silk fiber; 150 yards; light worsted weight]
To substitute yarn look for 130 to 150 yards of a light worsted weight in a smooth fiber to produce a similar feel. A mercerized cotton would keep the shiny look of my cowl and be perfect for year-round wear. Wool and some acrylics will produce a softer appearance.
