Longer Cape With Partial Pineapple Edging

The photo above shows the back of the Sandi Marshall Cape, with only five rows of the scalloped pineapple edging completed. This results in narrower scallops on the edging. If you prefer this look, crochet the Scalloped Pineapple Edging rows through Edging Row 5 and stop.

For the longer cape length shown above, follow the pattern directions through row 6, then repeat row 6 (14) more times. Crochet the directions for Last Row in the cape pattern. Next, crochet the Edging Loops Row and 5 rows of the Scalloped Pineapple Edging.

You can use a brooch or a crocheted flower pin as a fastener for the cape.
