This stitch is gorgeous with fuzzy yarns such as this ivory-colored mystery blend.
The yarn was acquired from a thrift store and had no wrapper. I'm not entirely sure what it's made of, although a burn-test indicates that the yarn is partially synthetic. In any case, I think this stitch would be a good match for a variety of different fuzzy yarns, both synthetic and natural.
