Definition: WIP is an acronym meaning "work in progress." This acronym is frequently used by crocheters and knitters. It is also shared by other creative people, including paper crafters, artists and designers. A WIP could be a crocheted sweater, a painting, a scrapbook, or whatever else the creator is working on but hasn't completed yet.
