This could be made as a dishcloth or as a washcloth. Instructions for the edging are included. If you want the intended use to be as a face cloth, choose a soft cotton yarn when you are picking out the materials you will use to crochet the cloth. A coarser cotton fiber yarn can be used for a dishcloth.

Abbreviations: ch = chain, chs = chains, ea = each, dc = double crochet, sc = single crochet, sl st = slip stitch, sp = space

Materials: about 1 oz. any cotton worsted weight yarn for Main Color and about 1/4 oz. Color B for edging. US size H crochet hook
In the example, I used Elmore Pisgah Yarn Peaches and Creme brand cotton, color Ecru for Main Color and color Orange Sherbet for Color B (edging).

Pattern Notes:
You will turn at the end of each row, unless noted otherwise. This copyrighted pattern is written in US American English crochet pattern terms.
