Row 1 (Spelled Out): single crochet in the second chain from the hook (do not count the loop already on the hook when determining which is the second chain from the hook), single crochet in each chain across. (total of 16 single crochet in the row)
The yarn that I used in this example is Filatura Lanarota Summer Soft, color Turquoise Delight. It's a soft rayon/acrylic blend yarn. It comes in 1.75 Ounces (50 Grams) size skeins. It took 3 skeins to make the scarf shown on page 1. This yarn is sometimes available at Smiley's Yarns in their Internet Yarn Sale of discount prices.
