Row 2: chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet), double crochet in the same single crochet as the chain-3 just made, * skip next 2 single crochet, make 4 double crochet all in the next single crochet **, repeat the directions between * and ** 3 more times, then skip next 2 single crochet, 2 double crochet in last single crochet.
