The moss stitch works up quickly. It is a simple stitch pattern -- you only need to know the chain stitch and the single crochet stitch to do it. Despite that, I find it to be an endlessly interesting stitch, especially when crocheted using variegated yarn.
- Top Left Photo: Red Heart Super Saver yarn in the variegated colorway called "Fall." This is a gorgeous colorway that includes a rusty red color, a pumpkin orange color, and various greens and teals.
- Lower Left Photo: A close-up picture of the moss stitch crocheted using the "Fall" colorway of Red Heart Super Saver.
- Photo at Right: Our simple crochet beanie hat and scarf set. Free patterns are available for both the hat and the scarf. I used one skein of yarn to crochet both items.
