Round 6: In this round, crochet all the sc sts by inserting your hook into the ch1 spaces formed in the previous row.

Ch 2. (Sc into the next ch1 space between dc sts. Ch 3, sl st to first ch to form a picot. Sc into same ch1 space. Sc into next ch1 space.) Repeat sequence inside parentheses 9 more times.

In the corner space, work 2 sc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 sc.

Sc into next ch1 space. (Sc into the next ch1 space between dc sts. Ch 3, sl st to first ch to form a picot. Sc into same ch1 space. Sc into next ch1 space.) Repeat sequence inside parentheses 10 more times.

In the corner space, work 2 sc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 sc.

Sc into next ch1 space. (Sc into the next ch1 space between dc sts. Ch 3, sl st to first ch to form a picot. Sc into same ch1 space. Sc into next ch1 space.) Repeat sequence inside parentheses 10 more times.

In the corner space, work 2 sc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 sc.

Sc into next ch1 space. (Sc into the next ch1 space between dc sts. Ch 3, sl st to first ch to form a picot. Sc into same ch1 space. Sc into next ch1 space.) Repeat sequence inside parentheses 10 more times.

In the corner space, work 2 sc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 2 sc.

Sc into next ch1 space. Sc into the next ch1 space between dc sts. Ch 3, sl st to first ch to form a picot. Sc into same ch1 space. Sl st to join work to the beginning of the round.

Finish off. Weave in any loose ends.

Optional Slip Stitch Detailing: A textured ridge made up of slip stitches provides an additional border between the dishcloth and the edging. Work slip stitches all the way around the dishcloth in between the border and the body of the dishcloth.
