I've tested this pattern using both wool and acrylic yarns. I prefer the headband worked in wool, although it is lovely either way. These pictures show you how the headband looks when it is crocheted using Paton's Classic Wool yarn.

- Bottom Photos: I like wearing this headband tucked behind my ears. If you'd rather have a version that covers the ears, be sure to check out the wider ear-warmer style version of the headband. It's the same basic pattern, only it's a bit wider.
Of course, there are other ways you could wear this headband; depending on your hairstyle, you might be able to wear it over your hair. I think that would be a fantastic option for ladies with bangs and / or shorter hair.
