Ghost Outline:
The ghost outline is made in any of the solid triangle shaped sections of the edging, worked in the remaining loops of those rows. Holding the edging upside-down, with the right side of the piece facing you, attach white in the remaining loop above the first double crochet of the first 3-dc group (just below the single crochet row that was row 1 of the edging). As you make the ghost outline, turn the edging in any way that makes it comfortable for you to work in the remaining loops.
ch 3, sc in remaining loop that is directly below the loop where white was just attached, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below first dc of the 9-dc group of next row below, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below first dc of the 7-dc group of next row below, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below first dc of the 5-dc group of next row below, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below first dc of the 3-dc group of next row below, 2 sc around the dc post of next row below, ch 1, turn, (now you will be working back up the other side of the same solid triangle section), 2 sc around the other dc post of same row just worked, sc in remaining loop below last dc of the 3-dc group of next row above, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below last dc of the 5-dc group of next row above, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below last dc of the 7-dc group of next row above, ch 3, sc in remaining loop below last dc of the 9-dc group of next row above, Directions continued on Next Page --->
