This crocheted skull shape can be handy as a Halloween decoration. Sew or glue these little skulls to other items to dress them up for a spooky Halloween look. The example is crocheted with thread and the actual size is only 1 1/2 inches tall.

Materials Used In The Example:
Size 10 White Crochet Thread
Hook: US Size 7 steel crochet hook

Finished Size, when made with materials above:
Skull is 1 1/2 inches tall x 1 1/4 inches wide, at widest point

Gauge is not important for this project. The decoration is useful in any finished size.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain, dc = double crochet, ea = each, rnd = round, sc = single crochet, sp = space, sl st = slip stitch

Starting Chain For Skull: Chain 4, join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 8 sc in ring, sl st in first sc, to join.
Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 sc in ea of first 3 sc, ch 5 (for eye hole), skip next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 5 (for nose), 2 sc in next sc, ch 5 (for other eye), skip next 2 sc, sl st in first sc of this round, to join.
Rnd 3: ch 1, sc in same sc as sl st just made, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) twice, 2 sc in next sc, 6 sc in ch-5 loop (eye), sc in ea of next 2 sc, 7 sc in next ch-5 loop (nose), sc in ea of next 2 sc, 6 sc in next ch-5 loop (other eye), sl st in first sc of this round, to join.
