Size Child/16” Only
Round 6: Ch 1 (counts as first hdc), hdc 2 tog, *1 hdc, hdc 2 tog; rep from * another 6 times, sl st into first ch to end rnd — 16 sts remain.

Round 7: Ch 1, wrap yarn over hook and insert hook into same st, pull a loop through, wrap yarn over hook, insert hook tbl of next st and pull a loop through, wrap yarn over hook once more and pull through all 5 sts on hook, hdc 2 tog 7 times, sl st into first ch to end rnd — 8 sts remain.

Round 8: Beginning this rnd there should be one loop on your hook. Insert hook and pull up a loop through the next 3 sts, wrap yarn over hook and pull through all 4 sts on hook. Insert hook and pull up a loop in the next 4 sts, wrap yarn over hook and pull through all 5 sts on hook — 1 st remains. Proceed to Finishing Section.

Cut yarn approximately 12 inches from your hook. Pull tail of yarn through last remaining loop on hook to fasten off the last stitch. Using a tapestry needle, weave all yarn ends in on the wrong side of fabric.
