Here's a close-up photo of a single crochet stitch being worked through 3 loops. I've just begun inserting my hook into the right spot so you can see how to do it. The side facing me is the right side. The white yarn is my accent color. When working the first row of single crochet stitch for the sides, I want to work through 3 loops - both loops of the main color (blue in my sample project) and one loop of the accent color as shown. This will make a foundation for the box that is both sturdy and decorative.
