This pillow was designed to be finished with pretty coordinating fringe around the outer edge. In this photo, you can see how the pillow looks before the fringe has been added.
My opinion: this design could look nice without the fringe, but it would require a color change around the outer edge. Please see version #2 of the pillow pattern for further details and instructions on how you could approach this.
