Path For Weaving Ribbon - Shown on Open Topper

Ribbon can be woven through the v-stitches, if desired (optional). The photo above shows the path for weaving the satin ribbon, shown on the open towel topper.

Free Pattern For This Towel Hanger

When weaving the ribbon through the stitches, start in the center on the lower edge, leaving a length of ribbon at the beginning and at the end, so that the ribbon can be tied in a bow. This way the ribbon is not permanently attached and can be removed when washing the towel topper, if desired. I tied a knot in each end of the ribbon to prevent fraying.
