Abbreviations: ch = chain, dc = double crochet, sc = single crochet, sp = space
The row shown above is part of my Beginner Afghan Square pattern. This photo can help a beginning crocheter learn some basic techniques, such as how to make a single crochet in a chain space. Studying the photo can help a beginner see how it looks to make two chains then skip two double crochet stitches, leaving those two double crochet stitches unworked (shown on photo as ch 2, skip 2 dc).
