This close look photo shows how to crochet the first round of a basic triangle shape.
The starting chain was chain 6, joined with a slip stitch to form a ring. To see a photo illustrating this, click Previous under the photo above.
Round 1 of Triangle: chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), 2 double crochet in ring, (chain 4, 3 double crochet in ring) twice, then chain 4, slip stitch in top chain of beginning chain-3 of this round.
In the photo above, the round 1 instructions are completed except for making the final slip stitch in the top chain of the beginning chain-3 of the round.
